The Split-fire 4003 rethinks 3 PT Hitch woodchipper design. Designed for yard maintenance, farm or commercial use, this chipper is designed for safety, ease of use and productivity. With 3 available setup positions for the infeed and exhaust chutes, the 4003 can be configured to perfectly fit your needs. Fitted with a heavy-duty gearbox, a 100 lbs rotor and 3/8” steel plate chipping box the 4003 woodchipper is effective for branches and limbs up to 4”. Reduce most pre-trimming as the rotor opening gapes past 6” to accept leafy and Y shaped branches with ease.

The 4003 is a great option for any compact or mid frame tractor. Built for tractors in the 20 hp – 80 hp range, this chipper fully utilizes all that power and torque. The category 1 & 2, 3 Point hitch configuration will allow you to easily hookup and go. Several options are available to allow you to configure the chipper specifically for your needs. How-To YouTube videos allow for quick and easy servicing. Since the 4003 is a 3PT Hitch attachment minimal servicing is required. This is a quality attachment that will perform and will stand the test of time. Turn branches from yard waste into valuable mulch for your gardens and trails.

The chipper arrived in Oregon on time even with all the cold and snow across the country.  It really chips the pine, cedar and fir trees we have around here. It was ready to go to work right off the truck. It’s great for the type of trees we have. I’m learning how to prep the hardwoods for ease of chipping too. It’s great to be able to run the chipper in the early part of our fire season when piling for fall burning is all I can do. No more of that, I can cut, chip and walk away and it’s all done. The chips are and added bonus for use around the barn yard.
