Like the 4206, the 4406 is designed with the same easy to use ergonomics but comes with both a 2-way and 4-way wedge. It’s not just the addition of the wedges though. It includes a heavy duty 4-way frame, reinforced stops, reinforced slider, along with additional fasteners to make sure it lasts the test of time. With the splitting zone directly in front of the operator, large, twisted rounds can be broken with the 2-way wedge, while straighter grain chunks can be quickly processed with the 4-way wedge.
The 4406 is made for flexibility between gnarly twisted rounds, and straight grain logs. It pushes 32 tons with an average cycle time of 8-13 seconds, depending on the provided flow and pressure.
