Log Splitter 2265

Be ready for frosty mornings and the winter blast. The Split-fire 2265 is the perfect gas-powered log splitter for homeowners, small farms and cottages that are heating the home, workshop, or barn. Why wait for a return stroke on a conventional log splitter? The fast cycle time utilizing a 2-way split and compact design make a day of splitting wood safe, easy, and enjoyable.

The 2265 has been designed for ergonomic splitting and comes with several bolt-on options that allow you to configure a machine specifically for your needs. Needing very little scheduled maintenance, the 2265 is not a throw away purchase, and has been made to last decades, not years. Whether you are splitting small pine rounds, or you’re utilizing a hydraulic log lifter for larger maple rounds, the 2265 will keep giving for years to come.

Our new Split-Fire 2265 showed up today and I could not be more delighted with the product. I was expecting to have to do quite a bit of assembly, but it came fully assembled. Okay, I thought, I’ll just run into the city and grab some hydraulic oil and engine oil. After checking, I was pleased to learn the machine was fully ready go to – just add gas!! I gave it a warm welcome with a tank full of four-stroke Aspen fuel 😉. Tested the machine out and am beyond ecstatic with how it works. Amazing torque even at low RPMs which keeps noise levels down; fast cycle time; generous log table to minimize handling; a real pleasure to operate! It turns out buying Canadian-made pays off. So incredibly happy that I did not go with a big-box option. Thank you for this wonderful product. I often say “Old sayings become old for a reason!” Turns out “You get what you pay for!” Included a few pictures; this is not where we usually split! I was considering an electric splitter to keep the noise down in our semi-residential area, but have no concerns whatsoever about our splitter - the Honda engine is nice and quiet, makes way less noise than our lawnmower or pressure washer.

The 2265 is absolutely awesome! So much faster than my old splitter. It arrives in perfect condition, I fired it up and went straight to work. Great company to deal with!

This is to everyone at Split-Fire who helped customize my splitter. I got the hitch modified as discussed to fit a ball for my quad. I think it looks pretty skookum! Thanks for everything...it has been a pleasure dealing with everyone at Split-Fire. I've appreciated your time and considerations. I thought I would send you a couple pics. Thanks

Kyle and Myla, Thanks so much for working with me to buy my first log splitter. I did tons of research and watched so many videos to figure out that the Split-Fire unit was the one I wanted. It finally arrived today and put it to work before it started to get dark. Pretty simple to understand how everything works. The engine started on the first pull. I love it. Here are a few photos, Thanks again!
