Knife changes are done in less than a minute via a quick-change pin. A very efficient setup with a good operator on a small to medium excavator.

This machine is great for splitting down large logs into boiler wood, or chucks for re-splitting for a firewood operation. Pushing 32 tons at 2900 PSI, the 4409 takes all flow and pressure from the auxiliary off the excavator which equals zero maintenance and worries.
