The Split-Fire 1165V vertical splitter is a monster for its size. I’ve split 18″ elm rounds with little issue. Not the easier to split red elm, but the nasty American Elm. Oak and hickory is a breeze. I’m impressed with this splitter and recommend it to anyone. The folks at Split-Fire are great to work with and helped me with minor damage from shipping with no questions asked. Great people and a great product.
